2- Meet the giant tortoises at Curious Island

Curious is the island to discover the giant turtles, it is home to giant land turtles and sea turtles that come to lay eggs on the beaches. The island is also a sublime place to practice diving and snorkelling. Access to the island is chargeable.

3- The Victoria market in Mahé

The market is located in Victoria, the capital of the Seychelles, it is a place where all the flavors and colors of the Seychelles come together, it is located in the very center of the city and it is open every day. You can buy fruits, vegetables and breathe in the smell of spices! Saturday is the busiest day, it is advisable to come before 12:00.

4- Hike in Morne Seychellois National Park in Mahé

Mahé, the main island of the Seychelles has many trails for hiking with breathtaking landscapes, you can discover unspoiled nature and admire the paradisiacal beaches, plan good walking shoes. It is advisable to leave very early in the morning and provide liters of water.

5- Full day boat trip

Go on a day trip by boat and discover the magnificent secret beaches of the Seychelles, on the program: relaxation, swimming, snorkelling and diving!
If you opt for the day trip, the skippers will offer you a great barbecue on the beach with fresh fish.

6- Watch the sunset at Anses source d'argent, La digue

Named as one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, Anses sources d'Argent is a unique and magical beach, it is impossible that you have not already seen a photo of this magnificent white sand beach with its huge smooth rocks.
You can access it by bike or on foot, be careful the entrance to the beach is paying, so plan to bring cash.

7- Praslin: the valley of May

The Vallée de Mai is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, perhaps have you ever heard of the cocos de mer nicknamed “cocos-buttocks”?
It is in a green forest that grows a variety of palm trees, we can distinguish the female and the male, each of them produce huge fruits (up to 20Kg), if you want to bring back a real coco de mer as a souvenir, know that it is very expensive (on average 300-400 euros).
It is advisable to come early enough, the opening is at 8:30 am, the site is paying, you can take a guide, which is recommended to know the true history of this magnificent forest.

8- Taste Creole gastronomy: good places to eat

Del place (Island of Mahé) : this restaurant is located by the sea with a breathtaking view, the menu offers fresh fish, and very good curries! Remember to book in advance, and come and admire the sunset before your meal!

La grande maison (Island of Mahé) : this restaurant is located in a tastefully decorated Creole house, the house offers very good cocktails which will be served on a magnificent little terrace, while dinner will be served in a room located at the back with a superb view of a tropical garden. Their specialty: Creole bouillabaisse!

Chez jules (Island of La Digue) : this restaurant is located opposite Anse Banane, at the edge of the small road which leads to Anse Fourmis, a very nicely decorated restaurant with a heavenly view, you can taste good dishes locals and great cocktails.

Le lair (island of La Digue) : Italian restaurant with a varied menu for all tastes! The pizzas are very good, remember to book!

9- Go scuba diving

The Seychelles are a giant aquarium that guarantees you an unforgettable underwater adventure.
The luxuriant nature and terrestrial fauna are exceptional.
There are many dive sites in Mahé from Beau Vallon.

10- Spend a day at the stewardship beach in Mahé

Located on the island of Mahé, this beach is one of the most beautiful in the Seychelles, white sand, coconut trees, granite rocks, turquoise water, you will be won over!
Be careful, the sea is deep and the waves are strong at certain times of the year.
It is advisable to rent a car to get there.
